Writing that she has not replied sooner in order to avoid taking time from him that could be better spent serving God, taking care of his health, or visiting his nephew; mentioning "celle qui est a Gaillon," [either house or person] but writing that she must "demeurer ou Dieu [l'a] mise"; recounting the ways in which she spends her time; recounting that M. [Gilles-François?] de [Beauvais?] "fait trop de bruit" and that the curé de Saint-Sulpice [Jean-Baptiste-Joseph Languet de Gergy] will not be pushed.
