Lamenting the results of the Jacobite uprising of 1715; alluding to problems in the countryside, possibly related to the severe winter of that year; commenting that M. le duc de Noailles seems overwhelmed by the task that he has set himself; writing that she had anticipated more peace in her retreat, but that she cannot ignore the issues of the world, particularly with regard to the situation in England; mentioning the Queen [of England?]; recounting death of "ma sœur de [?]" during the night.
