Summary
Writing that the addressee's previous letter made her uneasy, and commenting that she believes that "vostre intendant" will soon be removed from his position; explaining that she contacted Mme la princesse d'Harcourt [Marie-Françoise de Brancas] regarding a favor that the recipient of the letter wishes to do, concerning a priest; writing that she has written to M. [Louis Phélypeaux, marquis] de la Vrillière on behalf of "vostre premier president," forgetting that this was against the interests of M. de Luxembourg, noting that her haste makes her forget important aspects of a situation; recounting that M. [Paul Godet des Marais, évêque?] de Chartres will arrive Wednesday or Thursday.
