Summary
Concerning his difficulty in getting enough work for the Temple Newsam exhibition; saying "I was never in favour of holding it but got let in. I should be most grateful if you could help me...I suggest that if you can spare something from your collection we should be very glad;" listing works, by their catalog number, from the 1935 and 1937 exhibitions; in the column for the 1942 exhibition he suggests borrowing "a ghost or two;" giving him permission to cut some out if he knows they are inaccessible.
