Summary
Concerning a Dali ink drawing and his own wood engravings; asking the gallery to sell the Dali drawing for him as he "was asking £30 which may be too much. Also I am in a fix about my few remaining wood engravings. I have very few left & I feel you have very little demand for them today. With the C.E.M.A. [Arts Council of Great Britain] show of my odds & ends travelling the country I think there may be a few sales from the group of engravings, also 3 of them are unpublished prints although done years ago. What I should like is for you to surrender all copies now with you & send them down to me. Then I will give you the new old 3 if you care to have them...The Show at the Ashmolean was a great success. I have good reports from Temple Newsam in spite of the almost insuperable difficulties in collecting enough telling pictures; thanking him, in a postscript, for the £25 check and asking if he is "sure you are not over paying me! I seem to have had a formidable amount[.]"
