Summary
Expressing his pleasure with the show and expressing several concerns; saying "First, the drawings belonging to Margaret which were crowded out. Please see that they & the flying boat are packed up in a parcel for collection. Next. that strong sunlight falling continually on the watercolours. I'm bothered about it. Can't you shade the sun with anything at the corners of the sky-light. I am really afraid the sun will do some of those paintings a mischief. Can you get an expert opinion to judge. Lastly, can you spare me 6 catalogues. I could use them to advantage. And could kind Erica, who is as kind as she is fair, mark me a copy showing the sales & reserves to date & post to me on Saturday;" adding, in a postscript, "I forgot what I meant to write about[.] I'm rather overdrawn can you spare a small cheque on account."
