Summary
Concerning items to be included in his gallery exhibition and providing a list of items he wishes to replace with other engravings and intaglios his wife will bring in; discussing the framing of the items and saying "I do not want more than one engraving in each frame however small the engraving may be and any mounts cut for more then one engraving must be scrapped or rather I will take them over but new ones must be made in place of them. There is one exception - in the case of the early engraving Elms I want to show the two states. The proof in the mounters hands now is the second state. The proof my wife will bring is the first state. I want the first state mounted above the second state;" asking if he will give Curwen Press an opportunity to submit a quote to print the catalogue; adding that he is sending a rough draft of the catalogue and asking that he "check it carefully;" adding, "With the exception of Dyke by the Road I do not want any of the framed proofs sold. This does not apply to the Genesis set if you hang the 'complete set' which reminds me that we were considering asking a higher price for the set. I will leave that to Lee's judgement but I certainly think we should get a fancy price for it now. I should state in the catalogue that there is a complete set as well as editions of the 10 designs."
