Summary
Thanking her for the transcription of "the [illegible] Poisoning Case. You must have thought it an odd case for me to be interested in, but I had a special reason for wanting it. I have not seen Edmund since we parted at Paddington. I hope to hear soon that he has settled down comfortably at Oxford, & likes his work there. I am now wishing that he were at Yalding, & that he were over here talking to me;" adding, in a postscript, "I am sick of my name, as I have just finished signing the sheets for one of those wretched limited editions!"
