Summary
Asking if it might be possible "to arrange a special meeting (on the terms you are kind enough to suggest in your post-script) before Dec 1st? I rather wanted to get back to Edinburgh a little sooner than I had at first intended - but I could prolong my stay if necessary. I shall be delighted to stand for nomination as Vice President."
