Summary
Praising Piers Prodigal; addressing Davie's "chagrin at the neglect which the fashionable set have accorded him," and noting that "any poetry written in a central tradition with a respect for a rhetorical ingredient in its verse is fated to be pushed aside"; saying that he agrees with [Siegfried] Sassoon that "the most impressive poem in the book is the name piece"; suggesting that he send the book to William Force Stead, who was a great friend of Edmund Blunden.
