Summary
Thanking him for his letter; complaining about the noise at the hospital, especially on the weekend; saying "Early last week the proofs of my novel came from Gollancz to correct. I did so in a handwriting like this but Victor Gollancz is very kindly going through them himself;" discussing Victorian verse and mentioning Rupert Brooke's reference to Victorian poets in his letters; adding that Kenneth Hopkins found "my article on Olney of interest but too scholarly; still he thinks it may be possible to adapt it some time to his editions requirements."
