Includes a watercolor title page with "Some Experiences of a Soldier Poet" lettered on it. The following page includes a series of possible titles, all crossed out, including: "The Perplexities of a Soldier Poet," "A Name in the Making," "The Road to Reputation," "The Maze," "Memoirs of Immaturity," "My Early Thirties," and "Siegfried's Journey / [1916-1920]" (this final version is not crossed out).
Pages are numbered 1-53, but some pages include writing on the verso.
