Discussing the pricing of 'Alice Learmont'; referring to the Greenoch Bazaar "patronized & concocted by the wife of Sir Michael Shaw Stewart, who was Lady Octavia Leveson Gower;" discussing pricing of the books if they were to be sent to the Bazaar "from the publisher" and asking for a decision quickly; commenting that "Avillion is all right - I believe the subscription cleared off 400 copies before publication day;" expressing her sadness at hearing that he has not been well; adding that "Novel No. 5, Vol. 1 - is nearly written - which is well."
