Summary
Saying she will "try to polish the 'Head' a little more;" asking if he would have "any objection to re-sell me the 3 copy-rights for a small 'consideration' - seeing how very little benefit you seem to have got by the same;" asking him "as a friend" about Mr. Addey as she has been writing a story for him and has not been paid "since last June though I have made several applications;" saying that if she does not hear from him she "shall send a little stronger application than my 'lady's epistles'. You see, I have been ill, & not able to work, so that this sum - of between £20 & £30 - is of considerable moment to me."
