Summary
Telling him that Mr. Hervey wishes her to tell him "of the excellent review there is of the Ogilvies in the Manchester Examiner & Times of Dec. 1;" expressing her hope that it is selling as he "could desire;" adding "Your other novel - (it gives me great satisfaction to say y̲o̲u̲r̲s̲) is at the middle of Vol. II already. I have carefully gathered up all the faults found with the Ogilvies -- so as to avoid them in the next & I do really believe it will be a much better novel. At least it shall be if any powers or pains of mine can make it so."
