Summary
Discussing subscriptions to Cowper's translation of Homer; telling him that he has "conceded too much in giving up every elision," and hoping it "may not cramp [his] Genius and injure rather than improve [his] numbers"; commenting on Fuseli's role in Cowper's translation of Homer; saying that he is glad Cowper is moving "to a more eligible situation, for that [he has] for some time past inhabited was low enough to have damped the wings of any less aspiring Poet."
