Summary
Discussing old age; commenting that extreme old age is frightful and humiliating as she and Corbinelli have observed in the abbé de Coulanges making them never want to reach that period; adding that they have plenty of time left but she couldn't resist the chance to write him on the subject; including a note from Corbinelli, as a postscript to the letter of Madame de Sévigné; commenting on the benefits and worries of being a grandfather.
