Expressing his pleasure that Lord Bagot liked his translations of Homer; hoping that Bagot has received his copies of Cowper's translations of Homer, and apologizing because he forgot to ask the bookseller to bind them before sending them; commenting on his work translating [John] Milton's [Latin] poems; noting that he needs a better history book to understand one of Milton's poems.
