Saying that he should have written sooner but was "absorbed in Homer"; thanking him for his subscription and the other names he sent him; discussing [John] Milton's versification and his use of elisions in blank verse; informing him that he and Mrs. [Mary] Unwin are leaving Olney after twenty years and moving to "a house in the village of Weston belonging to Mr. [John] Throckmorton"; commenting on Lady [Harriet] Hesketh's role in helping them move to Weston Underwood; defending Fuseli's work on his translation of Homer.
