Asking if she ever received a picture of him "in oil by [George] Sanders in Vigo Lane London," and advising her to "write for it immediately" if she hasn't received it; mentioning again that he swam from Sestos to Abydos; noting that any descriptions she has read of Constantinople are "so correct that [he has] nothing to add on the subject"; reporting that he plans to visit the Sultan with the British ambassador and then return to Greece; commenting on the lack of letters from Mr. Hanson; informing her that [William] Fletcher, his valet, is well.
