Summary
Wondering why he has not written to her and hoping he is not too ill to write; speculating that perhaps her last letters "were not so natural as many" she has written and may have "pleased [him] less on that account"; writing, "if you don't immediately answer this, I must remain persuaded you believe me either a Hottentot or a hypocrite, or that you are dead or dying, or seriously wish never to hear from me again"; begging him to write to her or to "make some body else write for" him.
