Opining that he is unfit for writing because he is "writhing in anguish with a bruised leg"; reporting that he has "sold to My Landlord the lease of my farm"; noting that he is now "ranked on the list as a Supervisor" and may "soon be called out to employ"; complaining that [William] Creech published a third edition of his poems and he received no remuneration.
