Summary
Discussing the nature of the awards for Mechanical Drawing; commending him on his proposal to extend the Exeter School to Torquay; adding, in a postscript, that he had "recently imported from Mr. Gendel's Curiosity Shop at Exeter, a capital Elizabethan Carved room of a house taken down in South Street to make way for some dissenting Chapel. It will make a characteristic feature in the Museum at Kensington, But Exeter ought not to lose such things."
