Summary
Asking her to send him his "wolf-skin pelisse and fur boots" as it is very cold; referring to a possible land sale 20 miles from his house; saying he is being "interrupted by a croud of curious people come to see the house;" adding in a postscript "that the party whom I thought to be merely curious visitants were General Jackson and his suite, who passing on to Lynchburg did me the favor to call."
