Summary
Expressing concern that he has not heard from her and anxious to know if he should send a carriage for her as "it seems that all Congress being to come on this week, all the carriages are engaged for bringing them on;" suggesting that it is best she "come short stages as it will be better to lodge badly than endanger being in the night in your situation, and with so many in the carriage with you;" adding in a postscript that he hopes she received the money he sent her with his letter of the 7th.
