Summary
Discussing the meeting of the Prince with Parliament; expressing his fears "for the interview, which is to take Place this Morning;" saying it will be "impossible for Him to obviate the malicious misrepresentation which the Impertinence of Rumour will raise. The Prince can inform the Speaker of Nothing which is not sufficiently manifest already. All the world sees that He is in a worse Situation then He would have been if the Measures had been set on foot to pay his Debts. All the world knows that He published advertisements for three months together to call in His Creditors, that He might lay the whole amount before the Parliament;" adding that if he had not kept a record of his expenses "to that He has no Defense;" suggesting that they put the results of the conversation in writing.
