Summary
Asking to borrow a theodolite, a chain, a brass protractor and a perambulator to assist in a survey "to measure correctly our extent of gravel walk;" asking him to set a day to talk about "several points relative to the Garden Establishment here & the Farm at Hampton Court, both of which from circumstances that have recently occurred, will require shortly being reduced as low as is compatible with keeping both places in that proper order in which I always wish to see every one that is either my property or under my charge."
