Summary
Concerning the promotion of his son Frederick and Wetherall's promotion and compensation; saying that there is hope he might be posted to Malta as the Prince Regent has discussed "establishing that Island Regularly as a British Government with a Governor to unite the Civil & Military functions upon a footing similar to that of Gibraltar;" referring to his continuing desire to clear his name after Gibraltar.
