Saying he has heard of the success of Lord Nelson; saying that he is "expecting hourly from Aboukir or the mouth of the Nile, accounts both of the destruction of the whole of Buonaparte's [sic] transports, & of himself & army being cut to pieces;" discussing the sale of his sleighs and the transport back to England of his baggage and servants; detailing specifications for a carriage he would like to give as a wedding present; discussing officer assignments; saying he has been to Winchester to look for a house and expressing his frustrations with the King over his posting; discussing additional officer postings.
