Summary
Regretting that Norton does not like the [Kelmscott] Chaucer, and remarking on his "delight over it;" discussing his work on the designs, noting that he made them to fit the ornament and the printing as much as to fit the pictures, saying "I love to be snugly cased in the borders and buttressed up by the vast initials and once or twice when I have no big letter under me, I feel tottery and weak," and concluding that "it will be a little like a pocket cathedral so full of design." Saying that [William] Morris is "the greatest master of ornament in the world;" mentioning Rudyard Kipling; and remarking on the health of their respective families.
