Summary
Fearing that he might not arrive in time; inviting him to come the night before and spend the night at See House; saying he has "set my heart on your coming. Several Bishops have already failed me for (to them) unexpected reasons. It will be humiliating if the neighboring Bishops fail to honor by their presence an occasion that will witness the transfer to the Church of at last a million & a half of property. My connection with it will be transient, soon forgotten--but the Church of God will be enriched for all time. I do hope & trust you will not fail to be present."
