Summary
Concerning an "amended Canon on Foreign Churches;" saying "I begin to see quite clearly that the 'Union element' in Geneva, under Bacon's manipulation, is utterly incorrigible. It wants-- as Bp. Bedell writes me--a mongrel church & will be satisfied with nothing else. While Langdon remains no such scheme can be carved out, ergo--reason brother Bacon & Dr. Field, [illegible] must be got rid of."
