Summary: 

Commenting on a circular about the Missionary Association for the West put out by the Diocese of Alabama; saying that he does not plan to take up a collection for domestic missions in his parish right now, but he does plan to take up a collection for the Foreign Committee; asking if Stevens still intends to focus on the North West for domestic missionary work; noting that he has been trying to raise interest in sending missionaries to the South West.
