Explaining that he could not write because he was busy "changing [his] parish & place of residence"; reporting that he has accepted a position as Assistant Minister of Trinity Church; noting that his family is not there yet because he didn't think his wife could handle"the fatigue of housekeeping, paying & receiving visits & the other etceteras of a city life ... together with the care of an infant"; telling him that he feels lonely without his family; reporting that next month he is going to Hartford to see his wife and to Boston to visit his sick mother.
