Summary
Includes a copy of the letter Hopkins proposes to send to the Southern bishops following the Civil War to encourage them to attend the approaching General Convention. The proposed letter is followed by a letter from Hopkins, dated "Burlington, Vt., June 22, 1865," to the Northern bishops, asking them to sign the letter and return it to him so that he may have the letter "printed with the list of names, and transmit it to each of our Southern brethren."
