Expressing his "admiration at your endurance of bodily exposure and official toil....your labors are enough to crush out the spirit from the most perfect of vital energies. It is truly wonderful that at the age of 74 you are so fresh and can endure so much!;" expressing his sadness at the loss of the Bishops of Florida and Georgia.
