Summary
Thanking him for his "noble and triumphant vindication of Bp. Seabury. When I read that assault in the Recorder some months ago, I could not repress my indignation--but wrote to Bp. Williams first to express it, and then to urge that some competent pen should be at once put to the work of showing up its really base misstatements. It then occurred to me that you must have in your hands the means of doing this effectively. And truly you have done it so."
