Summary
Thanking him for his excellent Editorial in the Journal on Nov. 6th "on the "vote of the House of Clerical and Lay Deputies touching the election of a Bishop for Kansas;" adding that he was in favor of "placing a Bishop in these Territories. Of course I was disappointed and defeated by that / hatefully miscalled party / vote; But must I revile my brethren? God preserve me! How little some very sincere men know whereof they are made! The Lord have mercy on bad spirits."
