Summary
Congratulating him and Mrs. Stevens on the birth of their son; referring to clergy who are leaving his Diocese; saying "Our University is, I fear, in a bad way. There has been a great deal of dissension... I fear the Dr. is a little too much of a martinet. He seems, certainly, to have the knack of getting at loggerheads with his Faculty & dependents."
