Hoping to involve several Bishops in the creation of a Pastoral Letter; "trying to obtain of several of the Bishops not topics merely, but some subject nearest each one's heart, drawn out in such a way as to be incorporated in the Pastoral;" adding, in a lengthy postscript, his arguments against of using Trinity Church for the opening session [of the General Convention].
