Referring to the "real and threatened difficulties in our Diocese--I fear every true friend of the Chh has too much reason to tremble for its interests in America;" saying he learned, "that, at a meeting of the clergy on Saturday evening, sentiments & feelings were developed in the radical party.....they made the most open account of their determinations either to reform or divide the chh. in the United States;" reporting that his family is all well.
