Summary
Discussing J.P. Hammond's letter dimissory; complaining that Hammond's conduct "has probably broken up a very fair prospect of establishing the church in connection with a female seminary in a part of the country where it was greatly needed & would have done an immense deal of good"; wondering "how our poor church is to stand up under such blows repeatedly inflicted upon her by fancy clergymen from the East & North."
