Bishop Brownell was the 3rd Bishop of Connecticut (1819-1865), the 7th Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church (1852-1865) and the founder of Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut.
Dr. Wainwright was consecrated as Provisional Bishop of New York.
