Complimenting him on his excellent pamphlets; saying he does not support his "proposed court of appeal tho I confess I think favorably of the principle;" asking how to respond to the issues of Romanism in the church in reply to questions from his parishes; asking what should be the "voice of the church"; asking, in a postscript, his opinion on lay baptisms and lay ordination; continuing, in another postscript, to comment on the charges pending against Bishop Onderdonk of New York.
