Collection of autograph and typed letters signed from Jeffrey Eugenides to James Linville : San Francisco and New York, 1985-1995.

Collection consists of 12 autograph and typed letters signed to James Linville at the Paris Review. Letters are primarily in regard to submissions, including of the stories Capricious Gardens and The Virgin Suicides, to the Paris Review by Eugenides. Collection also includes 3 letters from Linville (two are retained copies of letters sent to Eugenides, the third is to Jay [McInerney] concerning Capricious Gardens); one letter from "Michele," presumably of the Paris Review, to Mona [Simpson] also regarding Capricious Gardens; and one letter from the Dutch publisher Jaco Groot to Eugenides concerning a translation of The Virgin Suicides.
