Summary
Informing him that he will not be able to "put [his] name" to Hopkins's letter to "the Northern Bishops"; noting his objections to the letter, namely that he doesn't think their "Southern Brethren" should be given a "cordial welcome" to the approaching General Convention without exception; giving an example of a bishop he does not think should be welcomed; discussing Hopkins's letter in more detail.
