Asking if there is a fund in the New York Diocese "for the defraying of young men's expenses who are preparing for Holy Orders?" relating, at length, the story of a young man, Mr. Gorham Palfrey, a recent Harvard graduate and valedictorian of his class, whom he would like to help and thereby recruit to the Episcopal Church.
