Thanking him for his letter (MA 4220) and saying what brought him the most happiness was his drawing [of the Warwick vase], which he describes as the most beautiful monument of antiquity drawn by the hand of the most famous of modern artists; complimenting him, at length, on the beauty of his work and the gift to posterity he will leave to mankind.
