The language in this facsimile is almost identical to the language used in an anonymous letter to the Public Advertiser of December 17, 1770 and signed Phalaris and also to a speech given by Lord Chatham in Parliament on December 10, 1770; Phalaris was one of the aliases used by "Junius."
