Summary
Saying that he hates the manual part of writing and therefore briefly outlining international news, noting that the French have received a "severe check" in Corsica, that the Turks have been defeated and the Ottoman Empire has suffered a probably fatal blow, that Poland is ruined, that Denmark is armed, and that the King of Sweden has declared a resolution. Also remarking that Lord North intends to introduce at the opening of the parliamentary sessions a "Resolution to accommodate Matters with America, to the Satisfaction of all Parties." Mentioning that John Wilkes has not been in the news and that his son has been weaned.
